I grew up in Tilghman Island, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Being the son of a 4th generation wooden boatbuilder, I spent a lot of time watching and helping my father work in his shop when I was younger. I think my eye for design, attention to detail, and work ethic comes from that. I got into computers in high school and taught myself the basics of web design and coding. I designed and built my first website at age 16, and what started as a hobby eventually became my career path.
My other passion (if you couldn’t tell from the design of this site) is music. I started playing drums when I was 10 and guitar at 13. I went to The Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts after college to learn audio engineering, and have recorded several bands as well as my own compositions. I currently record and play live with a couple local bands in the area.
When I am not in front of a computer or holding a guitar, I like to get outdoors as much as possible. I enjoy boating, hunting, fishing and cycling. Please view more details about my education and work experience below, or click here to download my resume.
